But this player is getting even more attention because, in a game mainly played by boys, she is a girl. A common insult to a boy is to tell them they throw like a girl. I thought that ESPN brought out poor taste with saying that they deserved some of the money that was being brought in. It’s not labor for the kids that play its because they love playing.
Little League uses the revenue from broadcast rights to pay for the teams’ transportation to the World Series and to fund other Little League programs.
